Hello all!!
And happy June! So I meet with a publisher this week to discuss the nuts and bolts of creating my cookbook. I have LOTS of great ideas already, from savory starters to the most amazing entrees you will ever sink a fork into. And I’ve decided that to start the recipe section off, I am going to post the 2 sandwiches that were made on the Oprah Winfrey show! So check back here in a day or two. I’ll be changing the format over here so that it will be even easier to access and download info, so be patient with me, I’m still being pulled in multiple directions, still loving every minute of it as well,

Getting back on track!
Well, it has been a HECTIC, crazy and trying at times past 7-8 days, but I finally feel as though I am getting back on track. Over the next few weeks/months, I’ll be all over the place! First stop is Santa Barbara, then San Francisco, then back to LA, then finally back in Orange County, where I will try to get some much needed rest! Sleep doesn’t come nearly as often as I’d like, but I can sleep when I’m dead, lol…
Anywho, I hope everyone is having a terrific week. Keep smiling!!

Sorry I have been MIA for a few days! As many of you can imagine, I have been swamped lately, and I have a lot of work ahead, so I am trying to get a jump on things right away! Please bare with me while I run around town for a few days, but I will be back soon to post more pics of some wonderful people I met while in Chicago, the latest goings-on, and an update regarding the status of my cookbook and restaurant. I’m undertaking another project as well, so as soon as I have more information on that, I’ll be checking in and letting everyone know!!

TODAY’S THE DAY!!
WOW, just WOW…
Today is the day the show airs, and I can barely contain myself. It’s already aired in Chicago, at 9am, and my phone has been blowing UP!! I cannot wait to see it. I haven’t slept yet, been up cooking for my party tonight, finally laid down at 3am…then my phone rings around 5am – GUESS I’M UP FOR THE DAY!! Anyway, I totally went to work, where I encounter the freak-out fest, hahahaha!! This is all so extremely overwhelming, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t enjoying every minute of it!! I’ve waited a lifetime for this moment, and I’m going to enjoy every second of it!! I hope everyone has an incredible day, you already know I am, =)
And I really can’t say thank you enough to all those people who have been so extremely supportive during this time in my life where I’m not really sure what’s going on yet, but you guys keep me grounded, and it means the world to me!!

And I have several emotions going on right now…so I think I am going to just have to go out tonight for a very fine meal, and have a nice bottle of wine, and just relax as I wait for my tv debut, lol…

Another wonderful day in paradise…
Absolutely nothing happened today, but I thought I’d come by and spread some cheer anyway! Tomorrow is Thursday, and you know what that means – One more day till D-DAY!! I’m nervous, excited, anxious, ready to puke, all of the above, but I’m ready above all else!

Welcome to my new home! This will be the place where you can get updates as to what’s going on with me, when the new website will be up and running, what crazy things I’ve gotten myself into lately, etc.
The time has finally come!! Everyone on the planet can watch me on May 9th cooking with celebrity chef Curtis Stone of TLC’s Take Home Chef as we battle The Food Network’s Tyler Florence and his partner Madeline Menna and Ingrid Hoffman and her partner Emily Wellings to create a gourmet sandwich for Oprah Winfrey’s first ever Sandwich Showdown on ABC!!
